Suzie's love of art began when she was given a beautiful painting for her 18th Birthday. A stunning watercolour seascape with children walking along the shore line. From that day on she began collecting art, going to galleries, exhibitions and art auctions, often buying paintings and selling them on for a profit. A year off between school and University in Florence strengthened her love for the old masters and nurtured her fascination with art history which she then went on to study, alongside French and Italian at Exeter University.

While working in the hectic world of foreign exchange, she continued to study art with evening classes in London and later in Boston and New York when a role in magazine publishing (and getting married!) moved her to the USA.

Back in London and never one to sit still, Suzie began to work part time once her eldest three children were at nursery. She became a sales assistant for several London Galleries working at shows and exhibitions across London. Finally in 2011 alongside her friend, the brilliant Louisa Warfield, she set up her own business which later became Suzie Horsey Art.

 

Suzie Horsey Art is an online gallery specialising in introducing clients to both established and emerging Artists, whatever their budget.  Suzie represents a diverse collection of artists who paint unique collections for her every year.  While this group of artists may seem extremely varied at first, when you delve deeper, you will see they are all united by their huge talent and their true understanding of real painting. Many will work on commission, creating 'one of a kind' pieces to perfectly suit the wishes of her clients.
