AMYLOU JENNINGS

Amylou Jennings is a contemporary UK-based figurative and social urban landscape painter based in Eton and London.

She specializes in figurative urban landscapes, plein air scenes, and nocturnal cityscapes. Her work focuses on capturing the energy of modern city life, human narrative within urban spaces, and atmospheric lighting—specifically the quiet, emotional resonance of urban spaces at night or in transitional moments.

She primarily paints with oils on canvas, working both on-site (en plein air) and in the studio.

She studied at the Reigate School of Art and Design and later completed an intensive mentorship program under figurative artist Natalia Avdeeva, ROI.

Amylou Jennings has exhibited across notable UK galleries and art societies, including the Chelsea Art Society Summer Exhibition, The Brick Lane Gallery, the Broadway Arts Festival, and the British Art Prize and this year was shortlisted for the London Art Collective ‘ARTEVOL’ exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery. She has also earned awards in plein air competitions, including winning Plein Air Artist of the Year in Cambridgeshire.
